China Launches Delivery of Radar RD6 Electric Pickup Trucks

Radar, a premium outdoor lifestyle brand under the umbrella of China’s Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, has officially begun deliveries of its RD6 electric pickup truck. This marks the first mass-market electric pickup truck to be produced in China, and the event was held in Shenzhen to celebrate the milestone. The RD6 features three different battery pack options, ranging from 63 kWh to 100 kWh, with an estimated driving range of up to 632 km (nearly 400 miles). It also comes standard with vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality and external power via onboard 220-volt outlets.

The brand was created in 2022 to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles designed for adventure. Despite being part of the Geely Auto Group, Radar has its own production facility and R&D headquarters. Currently, there are 52 stores and 24 experience centers spread across 50 cities in China.
