As more and more drivers get behind the wheel of a Tesla electric vehicle, there is so much to learn as many aspects of EV ownership are different to driving a petrol or diesel-powered vehicle. To make things easier for new and existing Tesla owners, the company has just opened a new YouTube channel dedicated to tutorials around their range of EVs.
The new channel’s tutorial list for Australia’s most popular Tesla models includes: Essentials, Charging, Physical Controls, Touchscreen, Autopilot, Software, and Support. The Essentials video covers everything from getting into the car, setting up driver profiles, what regenerative braking is, and a quick rundown on charging. The Charging video runs through supercharging as well as public charging a Tesla Model 3 & Model Y. The other five videos teach new Tesla owners how to use the buttons on their steering wheel as well as other manual functions, touchscreen and Autopilot functions.
Tesla also has a video on how owners can connect their new Tesla Model 3 and Model Ys to Wi-Fi at home. This helps owners keep their cars up to date with the latest software to enhance the ownership experience. There is also a video about the support Tesla owners have when things may go wrong. This covers rebooting your infotainment system which can come in handy in various situations as well as roadside assistance and Tesla servicing.
These tutorials also extend to other vehicles such as the Tesla Model S and Model X which are currently not available for sale in Australia. It’s also unlikely that we will see these vehicles in the country before Q4 2023.
This is a great initiative for Tesla owners. Many of these videos were available on Tesla’s official channel since late last year but were harder to find. Now, these are on a dedicated YouTube channel which makes it easier for owners and buyers to find them to enhance their Tesla ownership experience. With this new channel, Tesla is making it easier for new and existing owners to learn more about their EVs and get the most out of their ownership experience.
